As a maintainer of a few packages, I would find this infinitely
helpful.  We are Arch, after all, and one of our goals should be to
keep up-to-date as a Rolling Release should.  As of now, I maintain
only 23 packages, and I would find it a pretty daunting task to make
sure each of them was up-to-date within, say, a week of a new release.
 There are other devs who maintain hundreds of packages (!), and I'm
sure they would also appreciate it.
