Re: [archhurd-devel] Re: Website change ideas
Hi guys!
I'll comment on some of those ideas. The blog idea, imo, is a nice one.
All the "pros" are really positive. The "con", having yet another
control panel, could be avoided by using one sction of the BBS, wich
could be blocke from posting new posts, and show that on the front
page, as the blog.
ALso, I am totally against any integration with Facebook. The Hurd is a
nice initiative based on FOSS values. Freedom and privacy are amongst
the core values of the FOSS movement. Implementing some Facebook
feature on Arch Hurd website would be a huge cognitive dissonance imo.
As fot the other suggestions, I think they all are great ideas!
