Has anyone asked on #hurd about this yet? I find it hard to believe
that they'd have just left such a problem. Though, they do have other
things to work on, and it does require physical accessâ

If nobody in #hurd has a solution, perhaps we should file a bug report
on Savannah so it can be fixed at some point.
